SimplePlan
Download installer
Enter your 14-character license key. We verify it, then give you a short-lived download link.
If the download is blocked
The installer is unsigned until a code-signing certificate is in place, so browsers and Windows may warn. Choose the matching tab and follow the steps — do not delete the file.
- Open the download flyout (folder icon in the top-right) or press Ctrl+J.
- Find
SimplePlanSetup-….exe. If it says blocked or dangerous, open the menu (⋯) on that item. - Choose Keep, then Show more → Keep anyway if Edge asks again.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the file. If Windows still warns, use the SmartScreen tab.
- Open Downloads (Ctrl+J) or click the download chip at the bottom of the window.
- If Chrome marks the file as dangerous, click Keep on that download.
- When prompted, choose Keep anyway (you may need ▾ → Keep first).
- Run the installer from Downloads. If a blue Windows dialog appears, use the SmartScreen tab.
- Open the Downloads panel (arrow icon) or press Ctrl+J.
- If Firefox blocked the file, click Allow / Allow download on that item.
- If nothing appears, check your Downloads folder — Firefox often saves the file without a browser warning.
- Run the installer. Windows SmartScreen or Defender may still prompt; use those tabs if needed.
- When you open the installer, Windows may show Windows protected your PC.
- Click More info.
- Click Run anyway.
- If there is no More info link, close the dialog, right-click the
.exe→ Properties, tick Unblock (if shown), Apply, OK, then run again.
- If the file vanishes or a toast says a threat was found, open Windows Security.
- Go to Virus & threat protection → Protection history.
- Select the SimplePlan setup entry → Actions → Allow on device (or Restore).
- Return to Downloads and run the installer. Use the SmartScreen tab if a blue warning appears next.
Use the same 14-character key to activate SimplePlan after install.
